Activities: 0-3 years

At about age three or four, children start to develop a sense of repetitive humour. So they’ll find the same joke can be funny for hours!

So a fun game at this age is to get a toothbrush and show it to your child. Then move the brush towards the child’s ear and say “do we brush in here?” “No!” They will say.

Now put it under their arm – “Does it go in here?” “No!” they’ll say. By now they’ll be getting the hang of the game and start associating brushing with a fun, playful activity.
